By day you could believe Lowland, North Carolina is exactly the same as any other city, but when the darkness of night commences; things get menacing. Ghosts are so normal around here; loads of people who live here don’t even fret about it anymore. A sizeable chilling phantom has been said to have been witnessed on one or two instances hurling pebbles down a wild highway outside Lowland in the early morning hours before sunrise. Whatever people exclaim, this ghost sure is bloodcurdling; one that should be shunned.

bound up guy can often be observed digging a crack in Goose Creek State Game Refuge very late at night. Some of the residents say this ghost is the struggling soul of a long departed Lowland local resident.
The ghost of a youthful female soaked in blood can be perceived often struggling out of Alligator Gut covered in filth in the early morning

hours before sunrise. If you talk to the people who live here, this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while journeying through Lowland a long time ago. One thing's for guaranteed, this is an unfriendly phantom that is rather not upset.
A gentleman with a large hole through his upper body has from time to time been seen at Abel Bay before sunrise staring down into the water. According to what the folks who live here assert, this ghost is that of a local resident who had a house here in Lowland some time ago. In any event, it's a menacing ghost that you do not want to meet around midnight.
