Custom Search Maggie Valley, North Carolina Ghost Sightings   About 10+ years ago my husband(at that time) and I were visiting Maggie Valley with some friends. We went to look at a House for sale. Being from Florida I could not wait to Check out the basement because we don't have those in FL. I turned on the light right outside the door to the stairs leading down to the basement. As I turn to walk down the stairs I saw a foot round the corner of the Wall to the stairs like someone     had reached the bottom before me. I called out thinking it must be my friends husband. When I got down to the basement it was a big wide open space and no one was there and there was absolutely no place for someone to hide or leave from the house. I wish I could remember the address to the house. I always wondered if anybody else in the past or future ever had that experience.
