Montreat, North Carolina Ghost Tales | |

After spending a night at the Montreat Conference center I was awakened by a feeling of someone crawling in bed behind me. I then felt a scratch on the back of my neck. I yelled ouch and it was gone. This happened at 3:15 a.m. on April 15th 2008. Had no idea of ghost until after conference.

During the daytime Montreat, North Carolina is identical to any other US municipality, but some long forgotten people from former times have come back here. Night time is undeceased time around here. Disbelievers don't trust in the local ghost descriptions, but the tormented

A guy having the head of a devil has allegedly been made out on

several instances marching from building to building before dawn on a Montreat avenue. Local people allege that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while driving through Montreat before the present.
A partly rotten human cadaver can often be made out searching through a refrigerator in the kitchen of a Montreat trailer on a dark night. A resident argues that this ghost is that of a local person who resided here in Montreat some time ago.
