Mount Pleasant, North Carolina Ghost Tales | |
|
I encountered a ghostly presence at a gravestone labeled ''Furr'' near an old wooden bridge on Miami Church Rd between Mt. Pleasant Rd S. and Barrier-Georgeville Rd. The first experience was seeing the faint shadow of a figure moving slightly near the gravestone when looking through a night vision scope. The second occurence was one night during a mild rainstorm when driving near the stone appeared to show a faint glow of weird lettering on the gravestone. When I drove away and reached Highway 200, I looked in my rearview window for traffic and saw the figures of two smaller footprints on my back window, appeared not to be impacted by the rain that was falling. It appeared as though they may have been the feet of a younger woman who was possibly standing on my rear window. I could not see the actual ghostly figure, but the footprints remained on my car until I reached Charlotte some 20 minutes later. Very eerie but didn't seem to be an evil spirited presence.
