Rex, North Carolina appears equal to any other place in America, but there are phantoms in this city, and they come into sight in the dark hours. Some of the deceased decline to pass on in this municipality. Several residents claim there are no ghosts, but anybody who has stayed a day in Rex, North Carolina knows better.

The ghost of a destitute gentleman is rumored to have been noticed on one or two occasions munching on a tomato at the stroke of midnight by a mailbox in Rex. Residents argue that this ghost can be the soul of a local resident who passed away here in Rex long ago. Whichever way, this is an antagonistic ghost that is rather not disrupted.

The ghost of a youthful cowboy can often be noticed scrambling out of Blue Desert covered in slime very late at night. In any case, it's a frightening ghost that you don't want to meet in the early morning hours before sunrise.

A terrifying being can be distinguished often
 
    glancing across Davis Bay in the early morning hours before sunrise. A woman who lives here declares that this ghost could be a celebrated past local of Rex. No matter what, it sure is a frightening ghost that any sound person would not want to meet.

The ghost of a gentleman clothed as a janitor is sometimes noticed trying to locate a person
  mid stream in Beaverdam Branch. Some of the locals say this phantom is the stressed spirit of a former Rex resident.

The ghost of a guy having on a law enforcement uniform has allegedly been observed on frequent occasions hauling a human headbone at James D McGougan Dam in the early morning hours. It's been asserted that this individual ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Rex some decades ago.
