And I do believe I was some kind of trigger that made this house haunted. I was the one who interacted with the spirits. Also there was a man who sold peanuts, I always said he was a little slow in the head but I found out he had lived many years before and that I had actually bought a bag of peanuts only when he went to give them to me he disappeared.
Is there any stories about this man? Or this house? Was a 4 story old colonial type house.

Comment by Merribeth: I know the house in Richlands you are writing about. My father was the minister at the Methodist church down the street. I knew a family that lived there and I took painting lessons from an older lady who had lived in the house when she and her husband had first moved to Richlands as a young couple.
My painting teacher shared many stories with me about the when she lived in the house and the history of the house. I had a weird experience myself. The house (although dilapidated) I could tell was once quite beautiful - Victorian a tower on the right side with bay windows and a porch around the front of the house.
Comment by Jessica: As I grew up in Richlands I was always told there were tunnels that lead from the house to Johnsons funeral home.
Comment by Kmh: Yes this is my house you are speaking of off church St. Actually this is the oldest home in Richlands as my great grandparents were some of the first settlers here. From where my house sits to across the highway was once my ggm pecan farm.
Haunted? I'm sorry to break it to you no ghosts live here. I have lived here since 1980 and nope not once have I ever seen or heard anything supernatural. Sorry guys find another ghost house to write about...
Comment by Christina: I was wrong about the street name, it is not Church st.
