Robbinsville, North Carolina Ghost Tales | |

Ok I have lived in Robbinsville for the past six yrs. I attended all4 yrs of high school there. Throughout school I have heard about the trull fields. Me and a fiend of mine decided to investigate one knight so we packed up in my truck and headed down Massey branch to a small cemetery down Leonard Davis rd (my friend knew how to get there as he found it hunting one year. We parked at the cemetery and with flash lights in hand went into the woods. Its about a 30-45 min walk if u don get lost. We finally came across a clearing in he woods (not a fled like some people make it out to be, a lot of foliage and small trees. Definitely a lot clearer then the surrounding forest)and it seemed that the instant we stepped foot into the clearing that all the sounds of the woods vanished. It was the most overwhelming silence I have ve experienced. We then began to investigate the surrounding area. NOTHING! we decided to go straight to the house. The house has two doors to get in, one in the front and one in the back with a hallway that goes from one to the

other with rooms on both sides. We each took a door and entered the house. Almost instantly there was a scream that would shatter glass, then the doors and windows began slamming opened and closed by themselves. We both bolted through the woods like deer. We reached thicker forest and stopped to catch our breath. We sat there for quite some time silent,

listening for anything. We both agreed we got what we came for so we got up and started back through the woods. About ten minutes later we started to hear leaves rustling behind us. Starting to get spooked we hurried the pace, then suddenly we see the figure of a man in a white button down shirt with black pants holding a rope covered in blood. The figure was about 30 yards ahead, we both agreed that we should charge him and try to overpower him (both of us being stout young men). We ran towards him as fast as we could, I dove towards the man then nothing. My buddy landed right on top of me and we got up looking for where he had gone to nothing. Extremely spooked now we ran al the way back to the truck and sped back to the house. We haven't spoken about this to each other since that night. My message to the youth of Robbinsville is to stay away from the trull fields as they are not to be underestimated. Submitted by Daniel Categories: woods, figures, man, sounds
There is more that goes

on here in Robbinsville nc. There is the baby graveyard in snowbird. It was an old battleground for the Cherokee. At dusk you can hear the war drums and the horses and people screaming. On Massey branch there is a place called the troll fields. A husband and wife lived in a cabin back in the woods and the husband killed his wife and hung her from the apple tree that sits in the field still to this day. After the field there is 2 bends and then the cabin and you can still see the woman. There is also Rattler Ford, Joyce Kilimer Memorial Forest, the road to nowhere, and the hill house but there is more under the radar...trust me I'm from there I actually live by the baby graveyard and have experienced it first hand.
