bright yellow and started blinking back and forth. At this point we were a little spooked. So I asked another question because at this point I could sense him and kind of knew what had happened to him.
So I said ask him if he was hung because of a white woman. Once again the lights went nuts - bright yellow. My guess is this - right by the graveyard during the Civil War there were establishments all up and down Lee Street.
In fact a couple still
stand today. This poor guy probably 'dated' one of those girls and got on the wrong side of someone and they did him in. Sad. But the ghost itself seemed
like a friendly kind of ghost.|
As we were getting ready to leave the tour lady came up to her and said you have to tell him thank you you enjoyed talking to him but you're leaving now so he doesn't follow you out.

I went on the Salisbury haunted house tour. All kinds of things were happening but one that stands out was when we were standing in front of the Murphy house (across the street from it). The tour guide finished his story and everyone walked away.
