I find the story about brick Street tavern more than a little unbelievable. There have been stories about tunnels under the Salisbury Streets for years. There actually was one tunnel discovered by the city water department in the 1960.
It was an escape tunnel that came out of the Confederate prison that was in Salisbury. Brick Street actually has two ghost. One is a black man who ran the livery stable that was at that location in the early 1900's and the other is a well dressed eqrly 1900's businessman who ofen Waves to children.|
Salisbury also has another very haunted restaurant the wrenn house. A little girl who appears to be about 8 or 9 years old has been seen by many people.|
