Severn, North Carolina Ghost Tales My sister lived in a trailer in Severn and she would hear footsteps out in her kitchen and it slowly made it's way into her bedroom and when it got to the foot of her bed she said it felt eveil. She never actually seen this figure but I too used to hear it staying with her. If we went to sleep at nine, you'd hear it at eleven o one, it would always wait two hours and one minute b4 it would start walking around. To top it off we would hear three knocks at the door and it would stop walking. Some folks who live here say these testimonies are lies, but there really are bloodcurdling things taking place here in Severn in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a young woman clad as a maid is every       now and then perceived covering a body by a sizeable rock in Woodland Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. In any event, this is a horrible ghost that any sensible person would not want to bump into. The ghost of a homeless guy is rumored to have been distinguished on a small number of occasions resting in an armchair in a home in Severn.
