Custom Search Stanfield, North Carolina Ghost Sightings Stanfield PAGE 1   2   3     When I was 11 yrs old I was asleep I awoke to find what I thought was my mother standing by my side, at the side of my bunk bed it wasn't. We lived in the house our family had built 100 yrs before. It sounded like my mother talking to me(that's why I woke up)she spoke softly to me and I wasn't scared. I got up from my bed and as soon as I reached for her she was gone. She was dressed in all white like she was getting married,     but really old I'm only 32 so this dress was way to old. I'm not someone who is worried about living with ghosts but I was. This woman looked like my mom, when I told her she said it was her greatgrandmother, it made me feel better until...I heard the whistles of someone(a man)then I was scared. Everyone in our family seen and heard the things that went on there, doors would pull shut, cold air on our back. Needless to say we moved, not because of that but it played a part. I believe that stanfield is a wonderful place, I was born and raised there but I know   (continued on the next page...)
