Custom Search Sylva, North Carolina Ghost Sightings Sylva PAGE 1   2   3   4   5   6     My wife and I of 16 years were commuting from Franklin to the hospital in Sylva where my cousin had been admitted. It was Early morning on a Day in late October several years ago. We were passing over the big bridge in Webster that lies above the tuck. While on that bridge we witnessed a Man wearing scrapy overalls with no shirt. His presence gave me a chill. He was holding a fishing pole and watching us drive past him. After     passing him I looked back to see that he had vanished. We panicked thinking the Man May have thrown himself off the bridge so my wife and I drove back down the bridge and again didn't see him. I parked our car in a church parking lot just before the bridge and we got out to look expecting to see him in the River but as hard as we looked he was not anywhere to be found. I have heard that this particular bridge was haunted but always scoffed at the idea. After seeing what I did I am certainly a believer.
