loves terrifying foolhardy people who come trying to locate ghosts in Vilas. Whatever people articulate, this is an intimidating ghost that you wouldn't want to encounter after midnight.
The ghost of a young Indian combatant was witnessed in Mast Farm Inn around midnight appearing terrifying. The witness panicked and fled.

of a brawny lumberjack carrying a big axe appeared facing the eye witness up on Baird Mountain. The ghost didn't appear to be scared by the witnesses. According to the local residents, this spirit may perhaps be a famous days gone by dweller of Vilas.
A menacing skeleton was witnessed shouting at the watcher to disappear down next to Dutch Creek Falls in the early morning hours before sunrise. When the ghost was distinguished it vanished into the night. A lot of locals say this ghost is probably the struggling ghost of a local person who used to have a home here in Vilas.
