In Waynesville, North Carolina ghost sightings is something you don't hear about often. One day I came down with a cold, it was winter and there were days I would forget to wear a jacket. I was sniffling, sneezing, and coughing coming out of the huddle house.
I got in my car and started down the road to go home. I was sick and tired of winter and decided to go home. I live on Allens creek and as I got to Allens Creek Baptist Church my gut was telling me to turn and go out to that little farm house.
When I got to the farm house I stopped the car and turned the car off, the lights in the house were out and they had probably gone to bed . I didn't know why my gut was telling me to go out there but as I started to start the car I saw something out in the field, it was a man.

He was tall and had something on his shoulder like a gun and a Civil War Union hat on . That night I went home scared not knowing what to do. I decided to tell no one of what happened that night.

2004 was the year that I have a very vivid and horrific memory of! This is a story that will be told for many generations to come in my family! It all starts on a very rainy night. It was a Friday night about 11:30pm.
