Whitakers, North Carolina Ghost Tales

The church where my step-dad pastors used to be a school back in the early 1900's all the way to the 1940's. It closed due to WWII. It was re-opened as a church in 1952. Me and my mother where sitting at the church trying to print some things out from the computer. It was about 9pm, so it was totally dark outside. We were just talking and joking around, when we heard someone call, ''Allen!'' That is my step-dad's name, the pastor of that church. We looked at each other and kind of shrugged it off. Keep in mind, we knew for a fact that we were the only two in the whole building. A few minutes after we heard someone call my dad's name, a door slammed really loud, rattling the window next to us. We called my dad and told him to walk over to the church and sit with us until we were finished. To this day, you can still hear people talking in the sanctuary if you are standing in the kitchen. Sometimes, you can faintly hear the piano playing while you are outside. It is really creepy...
