This ghost is exceptionally active in this vicinity; there have been a small number of other sightings of this individual ghost. A chilling beast came into view relaxing on a stool in a mobile home in Wilmington. This is one of those spirits that is perceived time and again in the   vicinity. The ghost of a gold-miner was made out drifting along on Alligator Creek at midnight. The spirit didn't care that there was somebody else nearby. One of the local residents firmly declares that this ghost takes pleasure in terrifying unwise folks who are bold enough to interrupt the tranquility in Wilmington. A female with a partially translucent body was witnessed flickering a light by John Creek. The appearance of the watcher scared the ghost who then vanished. The phantom of a man in a police uniform was noticed gazing down into the water at Dream Tree Point late in the night. The watcher got freaked out and ran off. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has regularly been seen striding from flat to flat very late at night on a Wilmington lane. The ghost of an aged gentleman with a large gray beard is repeatedly observed screaming people's names in Carolina Beach State Park near the park headquarters.
