The ghost of a lady with half her head gone has sometimes been distinguished being carried   by a llama by the side of a highway in the neighborhood of Blacksburg. Nonetheless, it certainly is a chilling spirit that you do not want to encounter around midnight. A shape with a skeleton face sporting murky robes has been perceived on one or two instances smoking a pipe at Bookout Dam late in the night. It has been said that this individual ghost is almost certainly the undeceased ghost of a local person who used to have a home here in Blacksburg. A female having a knife in her head may occasionally be seen on the shore of Fiber Industies Water Supply Lake articulating into the air. The ghost of a young-looking Indian fighter has regularly been distinguished wandering through an apartment near Blacksburg. If you listen to what the local residents assert, this ghost is the stressed spirit of a long gone Blacksburg local person. Regardless of what folks express, this is an intimidating ghost that should be let alone.
