Since then I have done some research and discovered that the whole bluff and beach area was set on fire in the middle of the night and burned during the Civil War and many soldiers died because they were sleeping. I figured I would put my story on here wondering if anyone else had unusual experiences in the area. Submitted by Heather

Ever since we bought our house in pritchardville my little boy swears he hears another little boy crying for his mommy also one of his friends have woke up to someone in the room with them and other people hear things at night when they spend the night. We hear what sounds like furniture moving.

Comment by Scott: I lived in a mobile home there at the end of November 2005 for about 6 months more into 2006. I did some heavy bike riding back where they were starting all the new construction back there. Not counting all the crazy storms that hit there and nowhere else. I got very strange feelings where they were coving up the old marsh and cutting everything down.
