Charleston, South Carolina Ghost Tales

I took a ghost tour of the city one day around dusk a couple of years ago.  The tour included the old city jail, which was just during the Civil War to house federal soliders.  Upon arriving at the jail.  I saw a fiqure of a man in the second story window and turned to my friend that we were in a surpise scaring.  We went inside the building and started the tour.  It was very cold and damp in the building and we moved upstairs, we were told of the history of each room/level.  We were told to look into one of multi-person jail cells (you actually stick you head in a hole in the door which has a steel cage on the other side to view the room) and then I noticed it was the same level and window that I saw the fiqure before we went in the building -- the room was empty and the door was LOCKED.  I got a very creepy feeling and wanted to leave the building ASAP.  I told my friend later what happened thinking she would have had the same experience, but she didn't. I have no explanation of it but that I know I saw someone/thing in that window.  Charleston
    is an unique place.

I was on a ghost tour of the haunted jail, and my tour group had just entered the place where Lavinia Fisher, America's first female serial killer had been held the night before she was hanged. The room was huge, and there
was a small cage to the left of the door. A minute after we entered the room, our tour guide started talking about the cage. 5 people were held in that cage at a time. He requested 5 volunteers, and raised my hand. At that moment, I felt extremely claustrophobic, despite the sized of the room. I excused myself from the room, and went into the smaller hallway. The claustrophobia went away almost immediately, and I was at a loss for an explanation.

A glowing figure of a young girl was spotted watching a friend of mine sleeping on the couch in his apartment around colonial lake. When he awoke the ghost walked through the wall into his bedroom and then vanished. We found out that this building used to be a hospital a long time ago.
