Cross, South Carolina Ghost Tales I live on cane creek road with my fianc?, his mom and his moms boyfriend. One day everyone was at work but me because I didn't have to work that day. I was in the kitchen washing dishes and I had a feeling someone was watching me. I had a cold chill go up my spine causing me to breakout with goose bumps. I grabbed a bowl from the sink to wash it and something was telling me to turn around. I saw something at the corner of my eye and I turned around to see what it was. When I turned around I saw a pale white figure standing by the front door. It was staring at me like it was lost and confused. I couldn't really tell what it was wearing or what it exactly looked like but I knew what it was the moment I turned around. I stared at it a few more seconds before it turned around and walked down the hallway. A few weeks ago me and my fianc? were laying in bed. It was pitch black in his room. I had just dozed of when I heard the sound of tapping on his dresser where he keeps his lamp. The tapping just got louder and louder. He turned the light on and       we waited a few min but we heard no tapping. He turned the light off again and a few seconds later we heard the tapping. We turned on the light again...no tapping. The tapping only happened with the light off. It finally stopped within 10 min of hearing the tapping. We heard no more tapping. But some people don't believe in ghosts and spirits but I   do. This was just another story about one, and it wasn't made up.
