Often times near a small pond muddy figures can be seen running around by the creek feeding the pond. Searches have been conducted but nothing is ever found. There is an old Indian shrine that was dynamited in the Early 20th Century for unknown reasons. Rumors say that the spirts once conjured up by old witch doctors are now set free     and wonder around the area at dusk. Most all the sittings of the mud men have been at dusk. Inn S.C. there is an old indian grave yard by a small bridge that at one time caused hauntings in the house up the street from it. There is also a women who passes away in a house just up the street from the grave yard where the road intersects with another rd. The house looks as creepy as the storey that goes with it.
