Georgetown, South Carolina Ghost Sightings
When I was young I spent a lot of time at the Henning-Miller house. I can tell you that there is definitely something in that house. I have experienced bottles being knocked over have seen huge cat like eyes staring from the basement and have heard meowing under the kitchen table from a cat's ghost.|
One night I was put in a bed in a second floor
room alone. I woke up so scared and walked downstairs to see if anyone was awake and when I came back upstairs to the room their was what looked like the indentation of a person on the bed next to the one I was sleeping on.|
The bed was perfectly made when I left the room to go downstairs. I cried myself back to sleep with the covers over my head
(I was like 6 or 7 at the time). There were pieces of the banister in a third floor room that had blood on them.
I don't know if it is true but I was told those were from the soldier that died.

Ive heard that there's these things called plateyes. They're shape changing ghosts. The plateye will glare at it's victim with eyes of fire before lunging at them. Just as the victim expects to be attacked it vanishes.
