The father passed away and the mother eventually converted the barn into a home for herself. She was said to be a mean spirited woman who disliked children and spent all of her days picking weeds out of her yard and warning kids to stay off of her lawn.
The son and his wife and children moved into the small house. Mrs. Scott lived in the barn until the day she died. I know the son's wife divorced him for being a drunkard and a wife beater. She left
him and the children and moved to New York.|
I was friendly with the couple that now occupied the home across the street and was not surprised to learn
that no one ever lived in that home for long. I stayed for a year and I loved it but couldn't sleep there.|
The house was too active at night so I moved.

Thankfully, I have not seen anything yet, but I have had some strange things happening to me and my family. The first event was when I was lying in bed, and I had finally dozed off. When I heard a knock on the door. I went to see who it was, and there was no one there at the front door or the back one. That has happened to me a total of three times. It has happened to my husband one time when he was home alone because my son and I were visiting my family. The next event was when I was with my son (who was only two. ) Well, we were on the floor playing, and all of a sudden he stopped what he was doing and looked over at our couch with a serious face and said ''no! '' And my son and I were the only ones there, and no one or nothing was on the couch. This event happened periodically throughout the week.
