Loris, South Carolina Ghost Tales I still keep hearing strange noises up in my attic.  It wakes me up at night.  I talked to someone at a pest control company and they told me it could be rats or mice.  They advised me to put down sticky traps for rats and mice up in the attic.  I did this and left them there over two months.  All that was on them when I checked them were two or three big water bugs.  No rats or mice.   When I first bought this house I noticed that the previous owners had put rat and mice poisioning in the attic.  I wondered why it was there because every time I checked the poison bait traps they looked like they had not been touched. I am not a believer in ghosts. But, it certainly makes a person wonder about things when you cannot explain noises coming up in my attic. I want to find out what this is. I need to do a complete deed search and find out all the previous owners of the house. Maybe I can talk to them to see if they have heard the same noises I have heard. I have not lost my mind! I will tell anyone that if you do not believe me then come       stay there at my house at night and you will hear what I hear! I also hear it during the day at times. Drives me nuts! It is frustrating when you cannot come up with an explanation for something you cannot explain. . Submitted by Ken Dippel I bought a house on 4931 Forest Drive, Loris, SC.  I began hearing noises in the attack almost immediately   when I began sleeping over in the master bedroom.  It sounds as though someone is up in the attic working.  It is a loud pounding noise or knocking noise.  Last week at about 9 pm I was doing some work in the laudry room.  I was very frightened when I saw what looked like a ghost weiring a red cap.  The figure had long black hair and was a dark skinned woman about six feet tall.  I saw this only about a few seconds and just as soon as it appeared the figure walked through the kitchen and down towards hallway and disappeared.  Spooky stuff! I do not know the history of this house. I do know the names of many of the owners. .
