Submitted by Courtney       Category: girls This sighting happened on the Old Whitmire Highway. We were headed back toward Newberry. There in the distance we saw a very bright light that appeared to be a possible wreck. We slowed the car down to a crawl in order to pass but to our surprise when we got within     approx. 10 feet of the light, we saw two figures that were illuminated and see thru. We could see the man had on a flannel shirt and bib overalls holding what looked like an old train lantern and a brown dog sitting on the ground beside him. As we passed by,it seemed as if the two figures watched us pass, but instead of turning their heads, the scene seemed to turn as we passed by. After we were completely passed it was gone. Needless to say we were gone as well.
