The phantom of a zinc-miner was seen watching the vista from the peak of Sand Hills before dawn. Many folks in the vicinity have had comparable occurrences with a similar spirit.
A woman with a semi translucent body was witnessed at midnight flying over the Sand Hills. This ghost is very active in this area; there have been several other reports of this individual ghost.
The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was seen howling in Poinsett State Park on a dark night. The observer fled

right after he made out the ghost. Regardless of what folks articulate, this is an unpleasant ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
The phantom of a gentleman in a military outfit has often
been seen hovering over Harvin Bay at the stroke of midnight. A number of of the residents allege this spirit is that of a local resident who existed here in Pinewood some decades ago.
