Rock Hill, South Carolina Ghost Tales My home is crawling with spirits. my lil sister who was about two years old has seen many ghosts in my home. she will talk to walls and she says she sees ladys in weeding dresses walking in our yard. i live next to grandview memorial cemetery. so that explains alot. Not everyone trusts in the accounts the people who live here tell, but the things that go down here in Rock Hill during the dark hours will frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a strong lumberjack grasping a large axe came into sight in an apartment close to Rock Hill. The onlooker escaped when she made out the phantom. Regardless of what people verbalize, this ghost undeniably is scary; one that is preferably not upset. A frightening skeleton       was noticed yelling in Arcade Park in the early morning hours. The ghost was unconcerned that there was somebody other present. Scores of folks who live here allege this ghost likes frightening foolhardy folks who come seeking ghosts in Rock Hill. A guy that shape-shifted into a vampire has often been observed looking for a book next to a parked   car in a Rock Hill parking lot before dawn. A glow-in-the-dark human person is repeatedly spotted in a Rock Hill area grocery store, marching the aisles. The ghost of a young man dressed in a rain coat can regularly be seen flickering a lamp by Big Dutchman Creek. Locals here who have witnessed this ghost allege this ghost could be the soul of a resident who passed away here in Rock Hill long ago. A headless gentleman can be seen over and over again startling people at Wylie Dam late at night. A lady with her head and left arm and left leg chopped off has from time to time been distinguished down by the water's edge at Lake Wylie yelling names of people. The ghost of a gentleman clutching a blood-covered axe is now and then witnessed sitting at a coffee table in a Rock Hill home facing the eye witness. The spirit of a civil war soldier has been distinguished on a few occasions traveling on a pony in the middle of a highway in close proximity to Rock Hill. The spirit of a severely burned female may now and then be observed in a phone booth in Rock Hill making a telephone call.
