Spartanburg, South Carolina Ghost Tales


While the sun is up you may well think Spartanburg, South Carolina is exactly like any other settlement, but this settlement is the property of tormented ghosts of yesteryear.     to time spotted hurling stones into the flowing water at Beaverdam Creek before sunrise. In any event, this is an unfriendly ghost that should be stayed away from.

The ghost of a youthful man dressed in a confederate uniform has purportedly been seen on numerous instances at night hurrying after a passing truck on a dark road in the neighborhood
  of Spartanburg. A number of of the locals declare this spirit takes pleasure in startling people who come looking for spirits in Spartanburg.

The ghost of a chained up guy has repeatedly been spotted in the rear seat of a truck by the driver observing the spirit in his rear view mirror late in the night. If you listen to the residents, this phantom may be the soul of a resident who died here in Spartanburg in the past.

The ghost of a hobo is regularly spotted by a woman hunting in a forest outside Spartanburg.

The ghost of an aged hag has been said to have been observed on one or two occasions conversing into the thin air in Croft State Park outside the ranger station. No matter what, it's a terrifying ghost that is rather not disrupted.

A man with a sizeable hole through his upper body may often be perceived seated in a chair in an apartment in Spartanburg.

A gentleman having the head of a devil may be perceived very frequently sobbing under a streetlamp in Spartanburg.

a kerosene tank has from time to time been seen shouting right by the entrance to Blue Ridge Parkway. Based on what the locals assert, this spirit may very well be a renowned yesteryear resident of Spartanburg. One thing is for sure, it is in all certainty a chilling ghost that you do not want to come across around midnight.
