Summerville, South Carolina Ghost Tales | |

This is a story that happened in Goose Creek S.C. About two or three years ago. My dad was sleeping but then he woke up to a noise he went in the den and the television was like there was just a storm or the power had cut off. And before he went to bed all the doors were locked and the television was off. Strange right? We think it was a ghost there has been noises in this house a lot like spirits.

There's a new ghost in town. Recently I had a sighting. But the odd thing is that it was a different ghost. I don't know if they need me or I'm psychic. I was in the very same hall as my last sighting and I had some sort of vision. I can't really explain it but it was/had really happened. Something got my attention to look closely into the hall leading down the stair-case. There was a flash I saw a girl who was wearing an old pioneer dress with an apron and a bonnet. She was walking up the stairs towards me! Then everything went back to normal. She

didn't look as if she wanted to hurt me or bother me. She look as if she just wandering around, she looked helpless. Then again the flash occurred she was two feet away from me! I jumped back, but I really wasn't scared. You could just tell she didn't want to me, she was focused on something behind me. I couldn't make her out because when I saw her

she was surprised I could see her. Then she vanished in a flash. Ever since I saw her something has been changing my radio station in my room to oldies music. My parents wouldn't change the station to music three generations behind them. Also it turns the radio from FM to AM. Occasionally whatever it is will turn the VCR on while I'm watching TV and you can only do that manually. I'll just be sitting 20 feet away from the TV with nobody around and the VCR will turn on! To me it's annoying, it doesn't scare me at all! I believe there is allot more ghost in my house than I think. No I'm not crazy. I'm just trying to find a way to stop this madness! HELP!!!.

We lived in Pine Hill Acres in Summerville. My girls and I were at the dining room of our home talking one day when we noticed a bright light coming through the back door. We ignored it. Suddenly the back door (which was locked) flew open and then shut, and the lid from the trash can in the laundry room flew across the kitchen

and landed 3 feet shy of us. We ran to the back door. It was indeed locked and no one was there. On a few other occasions when my daughter was in her room she would hear a baby crying. There were no babies in any of the home around us. The cry was loud and sounded like it was in the house. On other occasions, you could hear footsteps and the toilet lid would go up and down. I had noticed some changes in the personality of my husband and his sons and the family unit started to break and eventually we went our separate ways. This was a new modular home placed on land that we had just had cleared. I had called the Register of Mesne Conveyance and found that our house sat on an old Indian burial ground. I don't know if these strange happenings contributed to the family's demise, but it seems awfully strange that things started going wrong as soon as we moved in.
