My Husband and I once have seen a ghost behind the Cave House. We gotten the chills and something went by very fast...and you were able to see through it. We were not able to tell whether it was a Male of Female.

You might assume that Abingdon, Virginia is exactly identical to any other settlement in the States, but this settlement is frequented by the undead after the sun has called it a day. Things occur around here that cannot be given an explanation. Some local residents assert there are no ghosts, but menacing things undeniably occur here in Abingdon during the night time.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a waitress was seen burying a corpse by a large rock in Abington Historic District late at night. This is one of those ghosts that is made out very often close by. Anyhow, it's undeniably a frightening ghost that is preferably not interrupted.

of an old Indian chief came into sight gazing at the panorama from the pinnacle of Great Knobs late in the night. The ghost didn't care that there was somebody else there. In any event, this is a horrible ghost that you don't want to meet at the stroke of midnight.

across the Great Knobs. The arrival of the observer frightened the ghost who then vanished. A lot of locals claim this ghost could be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed on here in Abingdon some decades ago.

The phantom of a young cowboy was witnessed around midnight hovering over Watauga Valley. The witness was frightened and ran away.
A terrifying creature has frequently been noticed in Mill Creek flickering a flash light.
The ghost of a gold-miner is often spotted staggering beside a desolate road near Abingdon. Regardless of what people articulate, it unquestionably is a terrifying ghost that any sound person wouldn't wish to meet.
A woman with a half transparent body has allegedly been witnessed on one or two occasions exploring Black Hollow in detail at the stroke of midnight. Locals here allege that this ghost could be a distinguished old days dweller of Abingdon.

a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead may regularly be noticed relaxing on a couch in a mobile home near Abingdon. One of the local residents decisively claims that this spirit is probably the struggling spirit of a resident who used to have a house here in Abingdon.
