Appalachia, Virginia Ghost Tales | |
|
Appalachia was once a large coal town. A lady ghost has been spoted near my home I have also witnessed it. She is a beautiful lady but has a noose around her neck. My father told me when I was a child, one of the houses on my street was haunted by a lady. I never knew why untill a few months ago. I was browsing my old newpapers my mother had saved and there was a front page artical about a horrible muder, on my street back in the coal bomb. She was killed by her husband, who was jealous because all the men who worked in the mines when walking home would speak to her but did not like him. She never tries to attack anyone but just smiles and waves at passer bys. Submitted by Lilian Jones
