Appalachia, Virginia Ghost Tales

Appalachia was once a large coal town. A lady ghost has been spoted near my home I have also witnessed it. She is a beautiful lady but has a noose around her neck. My father told me when I was a child, one of the houses on my street was haunted by a lady. I never knew why untill a few months ago. I was browsing my old newpapers my mother had saved and there was a front page artical about a horrible muder, on my street back in the coal bomb. She was killed by her husband, who was jealous because all the men who worked in the mines when walking home would speak to her but did not like him. She never
tries to attack anyone but just smiles and waves at passer bys.

To the outsider Appalachia, Virginia seems like your typical town, but this is a town where the
living dead stroll the lanes during the night time. Phantoms are so regular here; many folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Disbelievers don't have faith in the local spirit testimonies, but terrifying things unquestionably go down here in Appalachia in the dark hours.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A pitch black dog that shifted shape into a woman can often be observed in the backseat of a Chevy by the driver catching a glimpse of the ghost in her rear view mirror before dawn. Lots of people who live here say this
ghost may be a renowned former time dweller of Appalachia. No matter what people articulate, this ghost sure is chilling; one that is rather not interrupted.

The ghost of a destitute guy may be made out over and over again in Bullit Park at night swallowing motor oil. One thing's for certain, this is a horrible ghost that you would not want to run into at night.
