Arlington, Virginia Ghost Tales Strange things happen late at night near the Long Branch Nature Center. Police officers going back the access road towards the nature center have seen people walking through the woods, but when they investigate, there is no sign of anyone. Submitted by anonymous       Category: woods I was five and I was visiting my grand mom I heard screaming like someone was being murderd in there I was freaked out. I always got a drink at night. I saw a lady with a knife stuck in her chest. It was all bloody. Submitted by Tina I was sleeping and woke up to find what looked like a little boy but then flew into me, and I fell back to sleep. I thought I was fine but three months later I woke up from a coma. Submitted by Kyle Roefaro I just returned from the Arlington Suites second floor with my four girl's battery packs, cell phones, etc. unplugged and stacked in the morning. The next night they woke me at 12:15 a.m. totally freaked out. They all sat bolt upright at a loud noise. In       the bathroom all the towels were off the rack and across the room in the sink, everything off the shelf and on the floor, and personal items on the bathroom floor (yuck). The third night on the tenth floor our bus driver left the room's ironing board up and in the morning the tight elastic cover was on the floor. Loads of phantom reports have been exposed by the folks who live here. Not everybody has faith in the reports the folks who live here tell, but there in fact are menacing things going on here in Arlington during the moonlight hours. A female having a spear in her head can be witnessed over and over again standing by the side of a gloomy highway close to Arlington. A wandering ghost has occasionally been perceived seeking a person by Little Falls Branch. The spirit of a young Indian warrior is occasionally distinguished fly fishing from the shore of Dalecarlia Reservoir in the early morning hours before sunrise. The phantom of a plane pilot is known to have been witnessed on a small number of instances crying down next to the water's edge at Bathing Beach. The creepy phantom of a Gaul may now and then be made out in Alexandria Historic District after midnight shouting.
