Assawoman, Virginia Ghost Tales


Not everything in Assawoman, Virginia is as it seems; this place has its fair amount of ghosts. Night is undeceased time in this place. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the locals tell, but everybody who lives in Assawoman is not alive.

The phantom of a lady having half her head lost has repeatedly been seen staring down into the water at Arbuckle Neck around midnight. According to the residents, this phantom is the undeparted spirit of a former Assawoman local resident.

    with a skeleton face having on shadowy robes is repeatedly noticed flinging stones into the flowing water at Arbuckle Creek at night.

A drifting ghost has supposedly been witnessed on numerous
  instances looking at folks in an Assawoman home through a peephole.

The phantom of an airline pilot may often be perceived by Ballast Narrows tossing pebbles.

The ghost of a brawny lumberjack carrying a sizeable axe can be spotted very frequently at Wallops Pond Dam after midnight looking at the view.
