Loads of phantom accounts have been exposed by the people who live here. Some people who live here claim there are no phantoms, but everyone who dwells in Beaverdam is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a woman with a plastic bag bound around her head may regularly be observed enjoying the panorama at James Dam at night. A sizeable terrifying spirit may be observed time and again at Arnolds Creek before dawn heaving bricks into the water. If you listen to the local residents, this phantom may well be a celebrated past native of Beaverdam. The ghost of a young man wearing a confederate uniform has       now and then been made out suspended in the air like a balloon in Beaverdam. The ghost of a strapped up man is sometimes distinguished meditating on the water's edge of Lake Anna. The ghost of a youthful woman soaked in blood has supposedly been distinguished on one or two occasions frightening folks down near the water at Blount Cove.   In any case, it's a menacing ghost that you wouldn't want to meet late at night. The ghost of an aged sorceress may now and then be noticed in an autopart store in the Beaverdam area.
