In the daytime you could believe Big Rock, Virginia is just equal to any other town, but the ghost accounts conveyed by the residents are sufficient to make anyone reassess stopping by in this place. Ghosts are so usual in this place; loads of locals don’t even fret about it any longer. The phantom of a dreadfully scorched lady was observed pointing at the onlooker in Add Hollow in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost was swallowed by the night after being spotted. No matter what folks verbalize, this spirit undeniably is menacing; one that any sensible person wouldn't want to meet.

The spirit of a guy having satanic symbols engraved into his foot showed up on the highest spot of Beaver Knob very late at night staring at the
sight. When spotted the phantom moved toward the observer who then ran away.

The spirit of a dreadfully mangled huntsman hauling a dead coyote was observed going out of control by Abes Fork. There have been other tales involving this ghost in the vicinity. One thing is for sure, it's a frightening phantom that you shouldn't go searching for.

A lady with no head was witnessed scraping out a gap by Lovers Leap. Additional accounts of this ghost have been conveyed.
