On Sunday March 22, 2009 my boyfriend and I were walking around Blacksburg VA taking pictures on my Smartphone, a Motorola Q9c which has a 1. 3 MP camera. It was a sunny day, and not being familiar with my camera phone, the setting was on cloudy, thus the blue hue.

We were specifically looking for the stone marking the 1755 Shawnee Indian attack on Draper's Meadow, now known as The Duck Pond. From Wikipedia:

''A group of Shawnee entered the sparsely populated camp virtually unimpeded. At least five settlers were killed: Mr. Patton, Elenor Draper (Mary Draper Ingles' mother), Bettie Draper's baby, Casper,[2] and Philip Barger, who was described as an old man and was decapitated by the Indians; they delivered his head in a bag to a neighbor, explaining that an acquaintance had arrived to visit[3]. Five settlers were taken back to Kentucky as captives to live among the tribe, including Mary Draper Ingles [1], who escaped at Big Bone, Kentucky, and made a journey of more than eight hundred miles (1300 km) across the Appalachian Mountains back to Draper's Meadow. Her marriage to William Ingles is said to be the first white wedding west of the Alleghenies. Also taken captive were her two sons; one of which, Thomas Ingles, lived among the Indians for many years and never fully gave up the Shawnee way of life. [1]''

My boyfriend called me last night and told me that he and his friend were looking at the picture on his computer and they saw a lady holding a man's headless body. I looked and saw a lady also and what i think is a pile of dead leaves in front of her, it being early spring. She is sitting beyond the wall, just to the left of the tree in the middle of the picture. She has dark hair in an up-do and a dark dress.

I hearby proclaim that I am the owner of this photo and that you have my permission to use this photo on your website and people can email me about the photo.

Sincerely yours, Brenda

Thanks to those who believe.

I see a boy between the two trees that are leaning toward each other. It looks like he has overalls on or is holding a large basket. His shoe is even with the top of the bridge. I also see other faces. Remember, a massacre took place here.

Not only is there a woman.  There is a man, it's like he's almost leaning against the tree, or slightly hidden.  It looks as if his arms are folded across his chest, and the look on his face is just scary. he looks really angry.  it looks as if the woman is cradling something in her arms.  I understand that the mind sees things and if we think about it to much

we can end up fabricating what we want to see, however, I don't think this is a trick of the mind.

I'm sorry to say that your photo does not hold weight. With a camera phone things become unclear and people see what they want to see. I am the owner of
a paranormal group here in the New River Valley and the picture can be easily debunked. From what is in the background and the tree's it does give off the focus of two faces. But you have highlighted it. Now when you write down there are two faces into the text then people will see them automatically. I'm sorry but your photo shows an old small brick wall, trees, and a guard rail. Nothing more.

My mother and I were looking at your photo and you have two other faces in this picture.. Just to the left of the woman in the trees they seem to be angrily looking at her.
