Blackwater, Virginia Ghost Tales I am from Blackwater Virginia and a few years ago I was trying to go back there and was renting a house in Sereta Valley which used to belong to Jesse and Lucy Williams when I was a child and they raised Peacocks. I noticed strange things happening, ash trays moving across the stands on there own, light moving up drive way during the pitch black dark of night then disappearing into a locked building. One night I was awakened by something and there was a lady floating beside my bed with a long whit dress and glowing brightly. I was so scared I could not go back to sleep and went to my uncles at daylight and told him what had happened. Uncle Donald laughed and said you were visited by Lucy the dress you described was what she was wearing at her funeral, He explained she probably just wanted  to know what I was doing there. After a few visits from Lucy and pranks she played on me we got use to each other. had to leave Blackwater again because I could not find employment, but now that I am retired I plan on returning, buying a place there, and never       leaving again. I hope I get the privilege of seeing Lucy again when I get back home. Respectively, Dennis W Russell .
