From the outside Boones Mill, Virginia seems like your average town, but tormented ghosts of long ago in this town don't seem to intend to expire. Ghosts are so common around here; many people who live here don’t even worry about it any longer. Disbelievers don't believe in the local ghost reports, but a visit to Boones Mill, Virginia will make anyone believe.

A terrifying skeleton came into view hiding a body by a large rock in Brambleton Park before sunrise. This ghost is exceptionally active in this vicinity; there have been one or two additional reports of this exact ghost.

A man that shape-shifted into a vampire was witnessed consuming a hotdog down near Crystal Spring at midnight.
  This is one of those ghosts that is perceived very frequently in the neighborhood.

A glow-in-the-dark human person was distinguished staring at folks in a Boones Mill house through an air vent. The ghost did not care that there was somebody other in attendance. Well, it's undeniably a scary ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to come across.

The ghost of a young guy wearing a winter coat has regularly been perceived drifting along on Cave Spring Branch at midnight.

A decapitated gentleman is regularly spotted fishing from the water's edge of Spring Valley Lake before sunrise.

A woman with her head and left arm and right leg removed can regularly be spotted hovering beside a murky road next to Boones Mill.

A soldier's uniform marching about with no body in it may be noticed over and over again dispatching a packet at a Boones Mill post office.

The ghost of a civil war fighter has every now and then been distinguished yelling in Booker T Washington National Monument right by the park headquarters. A resident argues that this ghost may perhaps be a well-known yesteryear resident of Boones Mill.
