Bristol, Virginia Ghost Tales    We took this photo at a hotel in Bristol, TN on December,24 2008. My wife was looking at the hotel door when I took the picture, because she thought she heard something. We saw nothing at the time and no one else was with us in the room. The next day I uploaded the picture into my Laptop and saw on the far left, what appears to be be a torso, head and wide open mouth with some sort of appendage in front of it. We felt a little strange when we entered the room, not scared, but strange. Moonlight hour is undead time in this place. Not everyone believes in the accounts the locals tell, but frightening things undeniably go on here in Bristol during the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The chilling ghost of a Gaul was noticed hauling a body over rocks in Anderson Park before sunrise. Numerous folks around here have had identical experiences involving an almost identical ghost. No matter what people express, it's a creepy ghost that you don't want to bump into before sunrise. A bloodcurdling skeleton has often been spotted mounted on a horse in the middle of a highway near Bristol. A guy that shifted shape into a vampire       is often distinguished staggering through a flat near Bristol. The phantom of a pregnant female is known to have been seen on several occasions at Middlebrook Dam after midnight looking at the panorama. One of the residents strongly claims that this spirit is the spirit of a traveler that was murdered while passing through Bristol some decades   ago. The ghost of a young-looking guy dressed in a jacket can be made out repeatedly after midnight staring over Clayman Hollow. A beheaded man has now and then been perceived pointing at the bystander in Bear Hollow after midnight. Several people allege this ghost is that of a local who had a home here in Bristol some decades ago. The ghost of a nurse with a blood-splattered uniform is once in a while observed heaving boulders into the water at Beeler Branch on a dark night. A lady with her head and right arm and right leg separated has purportedly been noticed on a small number of instances down next to Bumgardiner Spring on a dark night shouting at the viewer to leave. If you listen to the residents, this ghost gets pleasure from frightening foolhardy people who are courageous enough to disrupt the peace in Bristol. One thing's for guaranteed, it certainly is a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A military outfit walking about without a body in it has frequently been observed on the shore of Steele Creek Park Lake hurling rocks.
