  dead body from the chilly water of Acorn Creek before sunrise. A local woman asserts that this ghost enjoys startling people who come trying to locate ghosts in Burkeville.

The phantom of a gold-miner is known to have been perceived on numerous instances in a wild location outside Burkeville.
