This past summer we visited the house and found we still had the same feelings we had when we lived there. Submitted by Jim

Growing up the haunted house was the carrsbrook mansion. The stories were the house was a military hospital in the Civil War. Many soldiers were killed and buried on the property. One of the earlest families had many tragedies.

It was said that the mother of a Newborn rolled on top of the child and was smothered supposedly the child was buried in the family cemetery on the property. Many American Indians traveled and settled in the area.

I went to school with one of the kids that lived there. His room was on the second floor (? ) near the attic he told us he would hear music and talking at night like a gathering. The house is still there on carrsbrook Dr.

When I was little, about 5-7, my family lived in the old house on israel's mountain. It has since burned down, but I always wondered about that house because weird things always happened. The first was when we went to look at the house before renting it.
