Chincoteague Island, Virginia Ghost Tales We stayed in a rental home on Main St, Chincoteague, Va July 1978 and there was a man in uniform (we called him The General) in one upstairs bedroom. No one would go up there again. . Submitted by S Howe       Categories: home, man I saw a strange black human shape cross the t intersection of 103 and Kean ave one night 2008. I was driving south towards the intersection and under the street light going from the southeast of the intersection a figure with a very long trailing robe cross under the streetlight as I headed downhill towards the corner. About 20 years ago I was driving with my wife and my infant son at night enjoying a late night drive up on Kean Ave near the horse stables and cemeteries and my wife and I were both hit with a sudden ''change'' in the car, we both noted a intense overwhelming calming feeling. I was so hit by it I asked my wife ''did you feel that?'' She said ''yes what was that?'' and described the same feeling. It was a clear calm summer night with no barometric change.       Which I thought might of accounted for part of the feeling. I have been up that way in later years with my son but have never experienced the feeling again. .
