Being raised in Coeburn Virginia I can tell you first hand of the eerie things that have happened over my years there. I left the area when I was 19; never to look back, until recently. I have begun to visit home again. I have always been '' sensitive'' to the sprits who are locked to this world. My home is in a part of Coeburn that in the country, pine camp, that to be more specific, it has always been a tender box of paranormal activity.

At one time an old cabin / house that had been built in the 1700s, where my family built a new home. It was told that the cabin was used as a hospital or morgue, whichever the case would have been at the time.

Anyway, when someone passed or died, the attendants would store the dead bodies in the old cellar until someone could dig the graves and the men could be buried. Also these men where supposed to soldiers from the Civil War. The old cabin was dismantled in 1979 and donated to the historical museum, where it was rebuilt in Tennessee and is still on display to this day . I know for a fact that my grandmother and I experienced more than just a few ghostly sightings. Orbs will dance in the family graveyard, and certain times strange lights, almost like lighting will dance with through the land and through the house. We have captured this on film and it has been reviewed by many paranormal experts.
