There is a lot of history at this place in colonial beach and many have experienced things that happen there! There has been noises , footsteps, even someone seen a figure walk around and vanish. I myself have heard and seen things there. This restaurant has been there sense the 1940s. At night in the middle building I go in there and I get the feeling I'm being watched sometimes. phantom of a man in a sheriff uniform has purportedly been observed on a few instances on a Colonial Beach avenue at the stroke of midnight. Scores of local residents argue this ghost enjoys terrifying foolhardy folks who are courageous enough to disrupt the peace in Colonial Beach.

taking pleasure in the vista at Latanes Dam at night. When seen the ghost approached the observer who then escaped. Folks who have made out this ghost say this ghost could be the soul of a person who lived here who passed on here in Colonial Beach many years ago. In any event, it's sure a bloodcurdling ghost that is preferably not interrupted.
The phantom of a gentleman sporting an armed forces outfit materialized reading a newspaper down next to the water at Bachelors Hope Point. There are many accounts about this ghost in the vicinity.
A lady with a knife sticking out of her head was observed hauling a body from the freezing water of Ditchley Prong around midnight. Further accounts of this ghost have been reported. A resident alleges that this ghost might be a celebrated yesteryear resident of Colonial Beach.
