    is known to have been distinguished on several instances flinging stones into the water at Assamoosick Swamp at the stroke of midnight. Folks who have observed this ghost argue this ghost is the stressed spirit of a long departed Courtland resident.

The ghost of a critically mangled hunter pulling a dead moose can repeatedly be seen enjoying
  the landscape at Camp Dam before dawn. Locals declare that this spirit is the spirit of a traveler that was killed while journeying through Courtland some time ago.

A female with no head may be noticed time and again walking a Collie in the early morning hours on a gloomy Courtland road.

A gentleman without a head has now and then been noticed staring through flat windows in Courtland very late at night. One of the folks who live here firmly alleges that this ghost is that of a resident who had a house here in Courtland many years ago.

An extremely scary ghost is known to have been noticed on many occasions searching through trash container on a Courtland residential street. In any event, it is in all certainty a terrifying ghost that should be avoided.
