Cripple Creek, Virginia Ghost Tales


By daylight the folks who live here in Cripple Creek, Virginia do what they do exactly the same as anywhere else, but beneath the surface there are odd things going on. Some of the dead won't stay in their graves in this town. Several folks who live here argue these descriptions are lies, but the phantoms of Cripple Creek are out tonight looking for somebody to scare.

The ghost of a train driver was distinguished conversing into the night down at The Falls very late at night. The spirit mumbled
 
    about avenging an assassination. Locals allege that this phantom is the undeceased spirit of a long gone Cripple Creek local.

  near Cripple Creek. The viewer freaked out and ran away. One of the locals determinedly claims that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while driving through Cripple Creek many years ago. Well, it undoubtedly is a frightening ghost that you do not want to bump into at the stroke of midnight.

A guy devoid of a head was distinguished up on Brierpatch Mountain holding a human cranium. The spirit did not appear to be troubled by the watchers. Some folks claim this phantom gets pleasure from scaring folks who are brave enough to disturb the serenity in Cripple Creek.

The
ghost of an aged gold digger with a large beard and a hook instead of his left hand was spotted looking over Matney Flat before dawn. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the watcher. If you talk to the residents, this ghost may be the spirit of a local person who died here in Cripple Creek some decades ago.

The ghost of a flight attendant has often been seen at Collins Cove before sunrise staring down into the water.
