Elkwood, Virginia Ghost Tales

In the daylight hours you might feel Elkwood, Virginia is exactly like any other municipality, but when the darkness of night starts; things get bloodcurdling. Things go on in this town that can't be explained. Skeptics don't believe in the local spirit descriptions, but not all the locals of Elkwood are really alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The spirit of a train driver may often be observed by Horseshoe Bend pointing at the observer. Anyhow, it is indisputably a creepy phantom that any sound person would not want to bump into.

A woman lacking a head may be observed often shouting at the observer to beat it up on Berry Hill.

The ghost of a young woman with a cable around her neck has every so often been spotted resting on a stool in a building outside Elkwood. Folks who have distinguished this ghost assert this ghost may very well be a famous past resident of Elkwood.

A guy with no head is rumored to have been made out on a small number of

instances down by Berry Hill Mineral Springs in the early morning hours before sunrise digging a crack.

The spirit of an aged gold digger with a sizeable mustache and a wooden right leg may now and then be made out destroying a map in the center of Brook Run. Residents here say that this ghost is perhaps the undeparted ghost of a resident who used to have a home here in Elkwood.
