A       gentleman's body having the head of a pig can frequently be seen hauling a cadaver from the cold water of Baker Branch in the early morning hours before sunrise. It has been claimed that this exact ghost   is almost certainly the stressed ghost of a local resident who used to dwell here in Fort Blackmore. A feminine form has every now and then been made out washing a bloody rag in Big Spring around midnight. The phantom of a female having satanic symbols etched into her foot is once in a while observed in a mirror in a Fort Blackmore trailer; the spirit was solely visible in the mirror. The ghost of a woman with a switchblade in her back has allegedly been noticed on a handful of occasions soaring over the Copper Creek Knob before sunrise.
