Galax, Virginia Ghost Tales | |

Now I know that you will think that this story is very fake but it is not. One foggy and very scary night I was walking to one of my friends house to see what he was up to. On the way there I happened to hear a noise that sounded like someone walking in the woods beside of me. At this point I am scared to death. I looked by I didn't see anything, but I kept hearing the same scary noises. I was very startled so I ran to my friends house as fast as I could. Then out of no where I looked over and saw a horse. I laughed but I soon realized that this was no laughing matter. The horse was carrying a man (with no head) That was the scary part about the whole thing, but I couldn't let that get to me. I was on a mission to get to my friends house. It has been said to be General Lee from the Civil War. SPOOKY HUH? Oh yeah, this was most definately a true story. Just remember this when you are riding through the small town of Galax.

has frightening secrets concealed in the night. Night hour is living dead time around here. Not everybody has faith in the stories the residents tell, but the living dead may show themselves to you if you stay an extra day in Galax.

The ghost of a guy

having a word engraved into his arm was witnessed looking at folks in a Galax residence through an air vent. The appearance of the witness terrified the spirit who then disappeared.
The spirit of a terribly mangled hunter hauling a dead coyote showed up hiding a corpse by a large rock in Felts Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. The phantom talked about avenging a murder. It's been asserted that this individual ghost is probably the undeparted ghost of a resident who used to dwell here in Galax.
The spirit of a young-looking female with a wire around her neck was witnessed trying to flag down cars by the side of a dark highway close to Galax. The eye witness was frightened and ran away.
An incredibly chilling ghost was spotted at the stroke of midnight checking out Kenworthy Gap in detail. The ghost did not seem to be agonized by the eye witnesses.
The ghost of an aged gold digger with a big mustache and a hook instead of his left hand has repeatedly been made out in a boat on Kennedys Lake appearing chilling.

ghost of a waitress has purportedly been noticed on many occasions very late at night gazing across The Glades. Regardless of what, this ghost unquestionably is scary; one that you shouldn't go seeking.
