distance to the north. Which drowned out ever very slightly highway traffic 295. This noise could be heard only by the first two neighborhoods from Woodman Mine and one other..
If you walked across the street you would not hear a damn thing. After I left my parents still tell me every blue moon the neighbors will hear them. For the most part it was blamed on the marching band football games.
Only later did it take a genius to figures that football
in high school is not played in June. I really have never heard of anyone talk of this besides the other men and women that I grew up with there.|
anyone can shed light on it I would appreciate finding out more most of the script that the information was passed from where actually verbal accounts to which where not recorded until the late 1800s.|

Comment by Logan: Dear Adam my family owns a farm that is located on Ashland Rd. Literally right across the road from Sears market and produce. The farm is 110 acres and it stretched back into some areas that were around Greenwood Rd..
I used to go hunting back there all the time when I was in high school and I'm pretty sure I heard the same thing man. It sounded like drums (kind of like the Marching band at PHHS. ). So you're not alone, I heard the same damn thing.
Comment by Jim: Adam, how long ago did you go to high school in that area? My grandmother lived on the corner of Mountain and Woodman until the early 60s and way before 264. Across the street were very eccentric people.
